Both were present in the live config on the Windows machine but absent from
the tracked settings.json, so install.sh silently dropped them:
tui: fullscreen -- full-screen TUI rather than inline
autoUpdatesChannel: latest
Neither is machine-specific, so track them for all machines.

install.sh and sync.sh derived PROJECT_KEY from the POSIX $HOME, which Git
Bash reports as /c/Users/x -> "-c-Users-timev". Claude Code on Windows sees
the native path and encodes it as "C--Users-timev", so memory files were
copied to a directory Claude never reads.
Convert $HOME with cygpath when available. Uses sed rather than bash
substitution because a lone backslash in a glob pattern escapes the next
character instead of matching a literal backslash.
macOS and Linux keep the existing $HOME-based derivation.

New machines auto-configure the graphiti-memory HTTP server at
https://graphiti.timevans.uk/mcp (override via GRAPHITI_MCP_URL).
Idempotent remove-then-add, matching the GitHub/Obsidian MCP blocks.

Derive the memory project-key from $HOME (replacing / with -) instead of
hardcoding the macOS -Users-<username> path, so install.sh/sync.sh resolve
~/.claude/projects/-home-<user>/memory on Linux and -Users-<user> on macOS.
